As a producer, Ms. Maloney has worked closely with Academy Award winning cinematographer and director Haskell Wexler on his critically acclaimed feature documentary WHO NEEDS SLEEP? (SUNDANCE, 2006). She has produced the debut feature films of Mo Perkins, A QUIET LITTLE MARRIAGE winner of the Grand Jury Prize at SLAMDANCE 2009 and Released by IFC. As an editor she's cut many feature narrative and docs. as well as commercials and TV pilots. As a director, Ms Maloney has several short films that have played on PBS and in festivals around the world. In 2007, the Berlinale, International Film Festival, commissioned her to direct the short film RESIGNED. She has received awards from, The Caucus Foundation for Television Producers, Writers, and Directors, The Motion Picture Academy of Arts and Sciences, and many more. When she is not writting, Tamara is a freelance producer/editor for clients, CBS INTERACTIVE, ESPN and many more.
